Aims and Vision

The Journal of Economic Policies and Research seeks to welcome submissions presenting the most recent findings and up-to-date research results produced by researchers and scholars, with an economic and interdisciplinary orientation. By providing an appropriate platform to support policymaking and to facilitate sound decision-making and decision design at different levels—and through a rigorous, purposeful peer-review process combined with strict adherence to research ethics—the journal aims to articulate a clear scholarly outlook for the academic community and to advance its stated goals and policies.


Journal Objectives

With a scientific, research-based, and applied orientation, the Journal of Economic Policies and Research pursues the following objectives in order to develop economic knowledge and enhance the quality of economic research:

  1. Advancing and strengthening scientific research in economics: Publishing original, innovative, and problem-driven studies across diverse areas of microeconomics and macroeconomics, with particular attention to contemporary economic issues.
  2. Providing an academic forum for disseminating and exchanging research findings: Creating suitable conditions for publishing research articles by scholars, faculty members, graduate students, and independent researchers, including manuscripts derived from academic theses and dissertations.
  3. Supporting evidence-based economic policymaking and decision design: Publishing studies and analyses that can inform the design, evaluation, and refinement of economic policies and programs at local, national, and international levels, and be utilized by policymakers and executive institutions.
  4. Promoting interdisciplinary approaches and localizing economic knowledge: Supporting interdisciplinary research centered on economics and fostering knowledge production aligned with the needs, capacities, and indigenous challenges of Iran’s economy.
  5. Enhancing research quality and scientific integrity: Upholding research ethics, implementing a rigorous and impartial peer-review process, and adhering to national and international standards of scholarly publishing.
