Guidelines for Payment of Article Review, Acceptance, and Publication Fees – *Journal of Economic Policies and Research*
Authors are hereby informed that, in accordance with a resolution by the University of Kurdistan, fees will be charged for the review, peer-review, and publication processes of articles submitted to the *Journal of Economic Policies and Research*. These fees are intended to cover a portion of the operational costs associated with scientific assessment, expert peer-review, preparation, layout, and publication. The total fee per article is 10 million Rials, payable in two stages.
Stage One: Article Review and Peer-Review Fee
A fee of 2 million Rials is charged after the initial approval of the article by the Editor-in-Chief and the specialized editor, but prior to sending it for peer-review. This payment is strictly for covering the costs of the review and peer-review process and does not imply acceptance or guarantee publication. If the article is rejected during the peer-review process or if the author withdraws after payment, the amount paid at this stage will not be refunded.
Stage Two: Article Acceptance and Publication Fee
A fee of 8 million Rials is charged following the scientific acceptance of the article and prior to the issuance of the acceptance certificate and online publication. This fee covers costs related to issuing the acceptance certificate, final preparation and layout, online publication, and the assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
Payment Method
• All payments related to the review, peer-review, and publication processes must be made exclusively through the journal system's official electronic payment portal and the designated payment link provided within the system.
• Authors are required to verify the accuracy of the article information and details registered in the system before making a payment. Refunds for payments made will not be possible, in accordance with the financial regulations and policies of the University of Kurdistan. Important Note
• The payment of article fees has no impact on the outcome of the scientific evaluation, the peer-review process, or the journal's final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the article. Decisions concerning articles are made solely based on scientific and specialized criteria, as well as the journal's editorial policies and guidelines.
