Journal of Economic Policies and Research

The Journal of Economic Policies and Research of the University of Kurdistan aims to promote economic knowledge and scholarship by providing a venue for publishing the latest findings and research outcomes of researchers and scholars. The journal strives to serve as a credible academic reference and to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and policymaking at various levels. By welcoming new submissions, it enables researchers to share their findings with the scientific community. All respected researchers and scholars are invited to submit their manuscripts to this journal and contribute to the advancement of economic science and knowledge. We are committed to providing an appropriate platform for scholarly exchange and the dissemination of academic achievements in this field.

The Journal of Economic Policies and Research holds a publication license pursuant to Registration No. 88046, dated May 31, 2021 (Press Supervisory Board, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance). In accordance with the regulations of the Commission for Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (approved April 29, 2019), the journal was recognized as eligible to receive a scientific rank (Grade B) starting from its first issue (Spring 2022).

Notes for Authors

• For submission requirements and formatting instructions, please refer to the Author Guidelines section.
• Submitted manuscripts must be prepared and submitted in one of the following categories: Original Research Article, Case Study, Review Article, Methodological Paper, or Applied Study.
• The submission, review, and peer-evaluation processes are conducted free of charge.
• In line with Circular No. 602245/و, dated March 16, 2015, titled “Guideline on the Investigation of Research Misconduct and Its Instances” issued by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, authors must observe the prescribed order of authorship for manuscripts derived from theses: student, supervisor(s), and advisor(s), respectively.
• All submissions undergo similarity checking prior to entering the peer-review and publication process. Plagiarism screening is conducted using similarity-detection systems affiliated with the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IRANDOC), Samim-Noor and  iThenticate. If the manuscript shows 15% or more similarity to internal or external sources, it will be removed from the review process.
• In support of green management, the journal is not published in paper format. Readers may download articles free of charge. Accordingly, the journal provides open access to its content, and downloading articles from the journal website is free.
• The journal is committed to publication ethics, follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and complies with the executive bylaw of the law on the prevention and counteraction of fraud in scientific works.
• The journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Copyright remains with the authors, who retain both the moral and material rights to their works.
