Abstract

Export development in small and medium-sized enterprises requires a comprehensive and coordinated approach that includes partnerships between different economic sectors and addressing challenges through advanced and innovative measures. The aim of this study is to explain the challenges of export development in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. On the other hand, since the promotion of economic growth is considered an important solution to economic problems such as poverty, unemployment, inflation and uneven distribution of income, the development of exports has been an important policy goal of governments and the importance of this indicator is such that today it is considered a sign of the power of countries. Achieving a higher economic growth rate depends on the use of appropriate economic policies, one of the main parts of these policies is trade regulations. The results of studies have shown that various factors affect the development of exports. These factors are as follows:

• Economic factors

• Structural factors

• Management factors

• Political-legal factors

• Marketing factors

• Supplier-related factors

• Technology-related factors

• Socio-cultural factors
