Investigating Technological, Behavioral, and Environmental Components on Mobile Banking Adoption in the Banking Industry (Case Study: Saderat Bank Customers in Sanandaj)

Abstract

Today, mobile banking, as one of the new technologies in the banking field, has grown and developed rapidly. However, the acceptance of mobile banking by customers is considered one of the most important challenges of this technology. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to investigate the impact of technological, behavioral, and environmental components on the acceptance of mobile banking in the banking industry. This study is applied with a quantitative approach and a descriptive-survey nature in terms of its purpose. The statistical population was customers of Saderat Bank in Sanandaj who had a history of using Saderat Mobile Banking, and 384 people were selected as samples based on the available sampling method. A standard questionnaire was used to collect data, and SmartPLS and SPSS software were used to analyze the data. To examine the validity of the study; content validity, convergent and divergent validity, and reliability; Composite reliability tests and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used, and all tests were confirmed. The results showed that technological, behavioral, and environmental components have a significant effect on behavioral intention and ultimately mobile banking adoption. These components are considered to be the most important factors in the field of digital banking.
